This week’s TG is hosted by our local chapter of Citizens Climate Lobby (CCL). Come and meet some of your fellow SIO colleagues that are involved in advocacy for a legislative solution to climate change. The Citizens Climate Lobby is a national organization with over 51 volunteer groups internationally. The group’s mission is to create the political will for a stable climate and to empower individuals to have breakthroughs in exercising their personal and political power. Come find out about CCL’s efforts to write legislation, meet with members of congress and write letters to the editor. Share ideas, opinions, and learn about climate policy or just share a beer with some climate policy wonks and your friends.
